The mill:
The Zeddenbach mill is a functional, 120-year-old mill building that has been preserved as the last part of the old Zeddenbach. Since the Wine Road, the Romanesque Road, a cycling path and of course the Unstrut River pass directly by the mill, you will find here not only for lovers of old technology, but hikers of all types of locomotion. A rest in the mill restaurant "Feiße" or in the mill store is worth the short way from the center of Freyburg along the vine-covered Schweigenberge. Guided tours even during production are special experiences. The creaking of the wooden beams, the rustling of the grain and the smell of fresh flour make you forget the time - especially when the miller lets old stories out of the flour sack.
