Manuela's passion for sewing was born in her cradle. She has been tailoring clothes for friends and family since she was a child and teenager. Later, her hobby turned into her profession as a pattern director. The self-employed seamstress opened her studio in Naumburg in 2014, which was expanded to include a store in 2020.

In her nationally renowned "manu.f.aktur", she produces everything from one-offs to small series. Each item is guaranteed to be unique. Manuela produces fashion in a simple and Nordic style. She prefers to use fabrics made from natural materials such as hemp, cotton, linen and wool. She mainly tailors women's fashion, but occasionally she also produces garments for men.
The range includes pants, skirts, dresses, shirts, shirts, hats, scarves, bags and rucksacks.

Her fashions and pieces by other craftspeople and artists are sold in the store next door.
