The exhibition is located in the "Old School" and uses there 6 rooms to exhibits,
Exhibit documents and posters on local and industrial history.

One thematic area is presented per room :
- early history of the place
- Copper smelting
- the Prussian Chief Mining Office
- the wire and rope plant
- Local history room
- Development of electronics and computer technology.

A large hall in the outbuilding and a kitchen wing are available to Rothenburg residents for family celebrations.
