The house was built in 1931 by the famous Jena architects Schreiter + Schlag as a residential building with an attached medical practice and is a listed building. It includes a large plot of land with a garden, which can also be used by our guests.

The house is located directly on the historic circular route in Saalfeld. It is only 5 minutes away from Saalfeld Castle with its baroque castle chapel, which is well worth seeing. The Saale river with its cycle path and water sports facilities is less than a 5-minute walk away. From Saalfeld, you can quickly reach the Thuringian Forest by car, with its excellent hiking trails and, in winter, cross-country ski trails and ski lifts.
