A place of contemporary art in the middle of Weimarer Land 

The former Karl Köcher knitwear factory in Apolda was put back into operation in 2012. Fabrics no longer roll off the production line here, but works of art. 

In the middle of the city, artists can work directly on site in their studios. In the gallery area, visitors can admire the work of painters, draughtsmen and photographers "ex works". In addition, three large exhibition rooms and a gallery in the Kulturfabrik are available for temporary exhibitions. A series of workshops is also on offer. 

The active cultural scene in Apolda ensures atmospheric and often very long musical evenings in this authentic hideaway.
