The Fasanerie Zoo is one of the most popular excursion destinations in the region. Here, bright-eyed children and unforgettable moments for the whole family are not uncommon. Around 50 predominantly native animal species live on an area of 2.5 hectares. In addition to fallow deer, mouflons and sheep, the zoo is also home to donkeys, ponies, guinea pigs and rabbits. Among the exotic animals, the calicoes are the absolute crowd favorites.

The large playground with climbing frames, swings and merry-go-rounds is particularly popular with children. Right next door, a snack bar invites you to linger in the summer months. The well-kept grounds are largely barrier-free. This means that nothing stands in the way of a tour with a wheelchair or baby carriage. Dogs are allowed on a lead.
