The idea of opening a museum with all the two-wheelers produced in the GDR was born back in February 2000. From this point onwards, we were already intensively involved in searching for the motorcycles - and with success! We were able to find 85 different models, 25 of which we have already restored to their original condition. The effort involved in restoring the motorcycles to their original condition is very high. Starting with the dismantling, the procurement of materials, the painting in the original color up to the rebuilding.
Thanks to the great commitment of our members in their free time, we are able to charge no entrance fee for a visit to our museum and thus make it accessible to the general public.

Please note: the museum is only open on Wednesdays during the week.
