Alpacas from the Fahner Höhe

It was love at first sight when we discovered these beautiful animals at the Erfurt "Green Days" in 2006.

The small petting zoo at the veterinary clinic in Erfurt-Gispersleben now includes alpacas as well as donkeys, goats, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and tarantulas.

Just six months later, our first cria was born.

The small herd has been growing steadily ever since, along with our growing enthusiasm for these noble animals. Our pastures on the Fahner Heights, north of Erfurt, offer the animals plenty of space.

We have also specialized in the veterinary care of a number of alpaca breeders and hobby owners in our area for several years.

There is an old saying from the Andes:
"If you look an alpaca in the eye for too long, you will be captivated by it forever."
