The Hardt Chapel, once a wooden building, was rebuilt in 1749 using solid construction methods. Initially, the chapel was dedicated to the 14 saints, as in the 19th century a procession replaced the pilgrimage to the 14 saints. Today it bears the patronal title of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The sandstone Way of the Cross, built from 1751, leads to the chapel, starting from the Marian column in Elisabethstraße.
