Klefferquelle Rastenberg
Klefferquelle Rastenberg
Rastenberg experienced an economic boom in 1907 with the establishment of a potash mine. In 1909, the town could afford to lay a water and sewage network throughout the town and connect all households.
The drinking water was piped from the Kleffer spring to the waterworks on the Burgberg. As the water supply on the hill was higher than the entire town, there was sufficient water pressure at all points of use.
