The town library in Neuhaus am Rennweg offers locals and visitors alike a wide selection of old and new literature. In addition to classic novels, current books on science and culture can also be borrowed and read. The range is complemented by a selection of films, which are available on DVD, for example. In order to have enough reading material without having to go out the door, it is also possible to borrow and download content in digital form via the so-called "Onleihe".

For the very youngest readers and all those who have yet to learn to read, it is possible to take part in a special "Reading Start" program.
