Relax while hiking through the woods and meadows or explore the surrounding area by bike on the well-developed Saale cycle path. Nearby excursion destinations such as the famous Dornburg castles, the Kunitzburg or the Fuchsturm are popular vantage points. The university town of Jena with the famous Jentower, the beautiful old town and its cozy restaurants also invites you to linger.
