Our house is situated in an absolutely quiet and idyllic location on the edge of the forest, surrounded by a lovingly maintained small park; approx. 10 minutes by car from Bad Liebenstein and Ruhla. Right next door is the Rennsteig falconry, the Ruhla ski hut and the Rennsteig, Germany's most famous high-altitude hiking trail.
We offer comfortably furnished rooms and vacation homes as well as a restaurant with a well-known reputation. Our head chef and his team will spoil you with changing dishes and Waldhotel classics depending on the season. We offer you fresh cakes and our tempting cream puffs from our in-house patisserie every day. When the weather is nice, our café terrace with a view of the Thuringian Forest awaits you and in winter there are cross-country ski trails around the hotel.
