Hanstein Castle Organ Museum
Hanstein Castle Organ Museum
Since 1994, the Ostheim Organ Building Museum has been housed in the lavishly renovated rooms of Hanstein Castle. Organ building in Ostheim can look back on a 400-year tradition. In the past, the townspeople not only paid great attention to their church organ - after all, between 1619 and 1738 they had four completely new organs built - several master organ builders also worked in the town itself.
Children are especially welcome in the museum! Equipped with a discovery backpack, you can explore the museum and solve tasks at special children's stations. Our museum mascot "Orgelinchen" will help you.
