In the 1970s, at the suggestion of Uschi Amberger, a dedicated opera singer and diseuse, the former Pörz-Bier-Halle became another venue for the Rudolstadt Theater. The "Schminkkasten" is suitable for smaller productions, ballad evenings, children's programs, discussion groups and small concerts, for example. Due to its intimate character, this venue has a charm all of its own. The audience can also enjoy drinks and snacks at their tables during the performance.
