The Schmalkalden town park is home to lawns and part of the Siechenteiche ponds. There is also a wooden footbridge over the water. A path leads through the seating terraces on the banks of the spring pond, accompanied by playing fields, lawns, groups of trees and grasses through the town park into the old town.
