At a rapid pace, it goes over the 400m distance the toboggan run on the Schlossberg. As this was open from the beginning until the end quite steep smaller tobogganers should be supported by an adult. There is a toboggan slope next to the toboggan run. Smaller tobogganists can also toboggan down this slope on their own. The traditional Forest inn "Auerhahn" offers excellent Thuringian cuisine for refreshment after the tobogganing fun.

Directions:

Coming from the Kurverwaltung Stützerbach, follow the signs "To the floodlit toboggan run". Cars can be parked at the hiking parking lot at the Stützerbach fire station or - in the immediate vicinity of the slope - at the hiking parking lot of the Waldgasthaus.
