Since 1838, the "Stone Table" has been an existing resting place for hikers with a table and two stone benches. The rest area was built on May 18, 1838 by Friedrich Wilhelm Carl von Seebach. It is said that the Vorderrhön could still be seen from there in 1894.

The "Stone Table" can be found from Eigenrieden at kilometer 14.5 and from Behringen at kilometer 16.8.
