The Marktpforte, which was only built in 1906, connects the historic old town with Bachstraße and the newly developed districts behind it.
They used to lead through the building of the "Fürstenkeller" restaurant.
In 1995, the complex was completely renovated and the passageway directly "over" the city wall was incorporated into the new building.
