Kirms-Krackow House Weimar
It is one of the oldest houses in Weimar, was home to the Kirms family from 1701 and was an important meeting place for artists, musicians and scholars. Famous personalities such as Franz Liszt, Johann Nepomuk Hummel and Hans Christian Andersen were regular guests in Jakobstraße. Visitors to the Kirms-Krackow House today are immersed in the living culture of the upper middle classes of Goethe's time - and can also take an intimate look at the Kirms' family life. The bourgeois flower garden is also a gem in the middle of Weimar's old town.
