The Ravelin Anselm was built in the first fortress construction phase between 1665 and 1702. It is a separate fortification in the main moat of the complex. Peace powder magazine V has stood on the ravelin since 1822. In peacetime, this was used to store black powder, which was kept outside the core fortress. The Good Templar Order met here from 1920, after which it was used as a residential building until the 1990s.
