Apartment Georg Muche
Georg Muche, architect of the model house at the Horn and, at 25, the youngest of the Bauhaus masters, was master of form in the weaving workshop and the metal workshop. Alternating with Johannes Itten, he led the preliminary courses and the wood sculpture workshop. It was at this time that Muche made his first contact with the Mazdaznan (Master of God Thought) worldview prevalent at the Bauhaus. He was also responsible for the first Bauhaus exhibition in 1923. During his Weimar period, Muche lived in the right part of the second floor in the private house in Steubenstraße.
