Werra-Kanu - Canoe rental in the town of Amt Creuzburg

The Werra invites you to go canoeing.

The most attractive Canoe-area can be found between Creuzburg and Bad Sooden-Allendorf. The flow area of the Werra lay for decades in large parts of the restricted border area and could neither be visited nor developed for tourism.

Today we use the Werra as Canoe-hiking river over a length of approx. 100 km. During the canoe trip, we cross the Eichsfeld and Hainich nature reserves, where rare plants and animals find refuge. At Hann. Münden the Werra The Werra finally joins the Fulda and merges with it to form the Weser. Take our canoes through the "Werra breakthrough" near Creuzburg! Up to 150 m high tower over the Werra The shell limestone cliffs of the Ebenauer Köpfe rise up and offer an impressive sight.

Many cozy villages and traditional towns line the route. Canoe tour the shore. The all-inclusive canoe tours we offer from Creuzburg to Treffurt, Eschwege and on to Bad Sooden-Allendorf are certainly the most beautiful Canoe-routes on the Werra. It is also worth exploring the newly developed Werra cycle path by bike.

In the Werra Valley you will find our canoe rental stations in Creuzburg and Eschwege.
