Buttstädt Town Hall
Buttstädt Town Hall
Built at a time of urban prosperity and hustle and bustle, the town hall still bears witness to the late Gothic and Renaissance periods. In the heart of the city, the north, east and south wings of the building were used for commercial transactions, court hearings and administrative activities. The decorative gable on the east wing and an inscription about the start of construction in 1501 on the north wing are still preserved.
