In the Albert Schweitzer Memorial, you will find an exhibition on the biography of the theologian, philosopher and jungle doctor Albert Schweitzer embedded in historical events. In addition to the chronology of the jungle hospital in Lambarene (Gabon, Central Africa), you can find out what a day in the hospital was like, what Schweitzer's core ethical ideas were and where the roots of his thinking lay. The fairytale poet Johann Karl August Musäus lived in the house until his death in 1787, after which the building was used as a residence.
