After a fire in 1689, the present Hauptmannshof was rebuilt around 1700. It served as an orphanage. Today, the building is home to the municipal housing cooperative following a thorough renovation. The building has been renovated and features half-timbered elements and a large inner courtyard. However, the house and grounds are not freely accessible.
