A world of different sounds can be experienced in the old vicarage in Kleinbrembach. Modernity and nostalgia are already inviting from the outside and continue inside.

Funding acquired between 2010 and 2016 saved the house from decay. A combination of the original floors, fresh wall colors and illustrative materials from various decades make everyday life seem a distant memory. Younger generations will probably never have used some of the exhibits, let alone known them.

The basic structure of the exhibition is modeled on an apartment. Each room contains a variety of sound props, allowing visitors to discover the world of sound. Equipped with an MP4 player, visitors can explore the exhibition on the upper floor. However, the exhibits, some of which are very old, will put a smile on your face even without a direct guide. Converted telephones, the Museofone, (re)create euphonious sounds that match the room and the old days.
