St. Andrea Church in Tanna is located in the center of the town of Tanna, which is located in the nature park region Thuringian Slate Mountains Upper Saale.

The enthroned St. Andrew's Church was built on a small hill. From the old church still remain the main entrance with its cross in stone surround and the cross vault in the back of the church.
