Admire more than 300 different deciduous and coniferous trees in the district of Friesau, which belongs to the town of Saalburg-Ebersdorf, and observe the diverse animal life. The hustle and bustle at or in front of the 8 large insect hotels alone will make you forget the time. While relaxing on the numerous benches, you can listen to the sounds of nature. The groves are spread over 2 areas. Around 3,000 m² are located directly next to the house. A second area of 13,000 m² is located approx. 1.5 km away as an extension.
The love of nature and the environment instilled in us by our parents, as well as the joy of trees and shrubs, were the starting point for the development and creation of this plantation. Many a plant could only be obtained in the 1980s at great material and financial expense. Numerous trees and shrubs were successfully propagated and reused throughout the site. The elimination of the need for the garden to provide for the family and the associated more extensive cultivation had a favorable effect. In addition, there was a pronounced passion for collecting that constantly expanded the stock of trees and shrubs.
