On the Bleßberg, 866 m above sea level, there is an observation tower next to the transmitters, which offers a good view of the Thuringian Forest.

The Bleßberg viewing tower offers a good all-round view at almost the same height as the viewing point at the upper reservoir of the Goldisthal pumped storage plant at approx. 875 m above sea level.

The hiking lodge on the Bleßberg is right next door. You can eat there and there is also a toilet.
