The Milseburg is an 835-metre-high mountain in the municipality of Hofbieber (Fulda district). At the foot of the mountain, near the small village of Danzwiesen, lies the Hofbieber-Danzwiesen celestial showplace. From here you have a wonderful view far into the Rhön as well as to the crosses on the summit of the mountain.

Equipment

It is equipped with a polar star finder, which makes it very easy to find the North Star. With the star chart, you can find any constellation. The binocular holder ensures a steady hand and you can relax and enjoy the starry sky on the wave lounger.

You will find the celestial showplace on the extension of the street "Zum Ringwall" - at the HOCHRHÖNER and the Milseburgweg.

Parking facilities

The best place to park is at the bus stop on the corner of Bubenbader Straße / Zum Ringwald in Danzwiesen. From here, walk along the extension of the street "Zum Ringwald" and you will reach the Himmelsschauplatz in a few minutes on foot.
