The Windeberg windmill is located in the Mühlhausen district of Windeberg at Zur Mühle 4. It was built in 1860 with a rotating roof. In 1947, a residential building was directly added. The windmill was operated with wind power until 1957. After the wind blades were dismantled, an electric motor supplied the energy to drive the grinding mechanism until 1972. A comprehensive renovation was carried out in 1993 and 1994 and the building with its existing technology is a technical monument.
