The Sieblos Museum in the Poppenhausen town hall (Wasserkuppe) is well worth a visit. The entrance to the museum is modeled on a mine tunnel. In the museum, visitors can expect numerous and varied fossil finds from the Rhön and an insight into the work of local fossil digger Hugo Schubert. The museum is open free of charge during the opening hours of the town hall.
