The parish church of St. Cyriacus is located in the center of Heyerode, a parish in southern Sichelfd. It is named after St. Cyriacus. Construction of the parish church of St. Cyriacus began in 1896. Over the years, it has been restored many times, both inside and out. The last interior restoration took place in 1998 on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the parish church. The windows, which were restored by experts from the Domglaswerkstätten Naumburg, are particularly interesting. The church was beautifully painted by restorers and painters from the Kruse company in Kreuzebra.
