From the "Am Ritter" parking lot in the Gehlberg district of Suhl, walk approx. 50 m along the road towards the end of the village. After the last house, turn right onto Alter Schmücker Weg. Pass the old waterworks on the right and you will see the large 500 m long toboggan run in front of you.

From here you have a fantastic view of the Thuringian Basin and Oberhof!

• Altitude of the mountain station: 750 above sea level

• Altitude of the valley station: 700 above sea level

• Special features: great views as far as the Thuringian Basin or Oberhof
