The former tan mill was driven by the oil ditch (Breitsülze old run). It was built in 1858 and had one of the highest gradients. In 1862 the building was damaged during a thunderstorm. From 1864 the building housed a steam spinning mill, which was operated with the help of a steam boiler. From 1912, an agricultural farm was located on the premises. In 1954 the mill wheel was dismantled. In 1956 one could still see the weirs.
