Not far from Nazza in the Lotzengrund was the execution site of the von Hopffgarten court at Haineck. It is documented that at this place on May 10, 1681, the 50-year-old widow Barbara Hager was burned alive for witchcraft.

The fate of the people known as Witch A memorial stone erected by the municipality at the place of execution commemorates the death of Barbara Hager.
