The Catholic Church in the Frankenheim district of Bischofsheim is dedicated to the St. Kilian dedicated to him. Together with his companions Kolonat and Totnan, the Iro-Scottish missionary is said to have led the Rhön people to Christianity in the late 7th century.

In the immediate vicinity of the church there is a Playground, Sports field and sports home of SV Frankenheim and the Rhönhallewhere many a party is celebrated.
