Luitpoldsprudel "old"
Luitpoldsprudel "old"
The Luitpoldsprudel "old" is one of the seven medicinal springs in Bad Kissingen and a Iron-containing sodium calcium chloride hydrocarbonate sulphate acidulant. Between 1906 and 1908, the Luitpoldsprudel was drilled in search of potassium salts in the northern Saale valley and opened to the spa industry five years later. Due to its mineral composition, it can help with chronic disorders of gastric secretion, in particular hyperacidity of the stomach, anemia and post-treatment after gastrointestinal surgery, as well as with states of exhaustion, iron deficiency anemia and convalescence.
At this original tapping point with the drilling tower, you can enjoy the healing water from April to October. Drink directly on site. In addition, the Luitpoldsprudel "old", named in honor of the then recently deceased Prince Regent Luitpold II of Bavaria, is available in Kurhausstraße and in the Brunnenhalle.
Attention: Due to construction work, the area in Großenbrach is closed until further notice.
