The baroque interior of the Carmelite church is one of Franconia's art-historical treasures. The main altar from around 1650, the mechanical slider chest organ by the Würzburg organ builder Will (1722) and the pulpit by Master Kessler from Königshofen (1748/50) are particularly baroque. The convent building, newly erected in 1693-1701, has served as a Latin school, hospital, district and county court since secularization.

Free organ concerts are held every year in July and August. The Carmelite monastery church is open to visitors and is located at the town hall near the market square.
