The Büschlebsmühle is a large watermill farmstead on the Wipper river with mill ponds and a functioning water wheel for alternative energy generation.

In 1828, Alois Büschleb bought the land and erected the buildings and hydraulic engineering facilities that still exist today. Since then, the flour mill, which is now run by the fifth generation, has been family-owned. The mill's special feature is the fully preserved four-sided courtyard and the historic hydroelectric power plant. The special water supply to the water wheel in the form of a sandstone aqueduct is evidence of the high level of technical hydraulic engineering in Thuringia. The water-powered flour mill is the last still functioning mill in the Wipperaue. Today, the Büschleb family runs a mill store there.
