Tröbnitz local history museum
In May 2005, the local history museum was opened in the former parish barn next to the church in Tröbnitz. The rooms are used by the Heimat- und Museumsverein Tröbnitz und Umgebung e.V. for the exhibition of exhibits on local history.
What it looked like in a simple kitchen, what tools were used by woodworkers, coopers, basket makers or shoemakers. All the exhibits serve to illustrate the life of ordinary people in the countryside in earlier times.
Numerous exhibits have been collected over the last few years that tell the story of the village and the surrounding area.
The latest achievement is the well house, in which excavation finds from the 17th/18th century are exhibited, which were recovered from the 10m deep well discovered by chance in a shed.
