Plate hammer
Tellerhammer was first mentioned in a document in 1594. The settlement can be traced back to a hammer mill built in 1594 by Jörg Bischof, also known as Tellerjörg.
According to an official description from 1655, the village's hammer mill had a total of 13 buildings spread across the Sachendorf, Neubrunn and Heubach forests. Not only iron, but also copper and gold were processed in Tellerhammer.
