Haselbach, located in the Rögnitz valley, was first mentioned in a document in 1282. Haselbach is best known for the "Haselbach Ponds". The pond area is now under European protection (Flora-Fauna-Habitat), with the aim of protecting particularly important habitats and species of European significance.
