Bieberstein Castle is located high on the Kugelberg in the Hofbieber district of Langenbieber. Dating back to 1150, the baroque castle has had an eventful history. Abbot Marquard von Fulda had the castle built to protect himself against robber barons. Today, the castle is home to a private school run by the Hermann Lietz Foundation, which is why the building is not open to the public. However, it is still worth visiting the castle and enjoying the beautiful view.
