Even after more than 60 years, the Schwarzburg swimming pool is still extremely popular with visitors. It is the special scenic location below the restored castle that attracts bathers from all over the region to visit Schwarzburg swimming pool.

The large sunbathing lawns, the children's play equipment, the baby pool, the separate nudist area, the beach volleyball court and, last but not least, the refreshments at the kiosk are praised by all bathing guests.

Every year in April, the preparatory work begins at the swimming pool. The facilities, the pool and the sunbathing lawn are prepared in countless work assignments. From May 15 to September 20, the members of the association take care of all the work on a voluntary basis.
