The Kressig-Dombrowksy family is now in its seventh generation of puppetry. They tell big stories in a small space - a unique and rare art of our time.

In the "Komödiantenhof", the association strives to preserve and present the Central German traveling puppet theater with guided tours, performances and lectures. The centerpiece is the original preserved marionette stage of the Hilma & Curt Kressig family with the historical proscenium from 1917, on which theater is still performed.

It also provides an insight into the way of life of the traveling puppeteer families.
