Former Antonius Mill
Former Antonius Mill
Built in 1323, the building served as a mustard and grain mill for centuries. It is the last mill located on the Breitsülze and had a gradient of over four meters. It therefore had the highest gradient of all the inner-city mills. The former mill in the town at the Frauentor got its name from the nearby St. Antonie Hospital. Today, the Antonius Mill is a cozy inn. The old millstone with mill iron is a reminder of its former use.
