The Ruhla Nature Park, Geopark and Tourist Information Center is located in a renovated half-timbered building on Ruhla's market square. The tourist information center is certified by the German Tourism Association and is the point of contact for guests, residents and regional service providers. There are two bicycle stands on the outside of the building. On the second floor is the nature park exhibition with information boards on Ruhla's historical development, settlement, crafts, geology and much more. An adventure cave, a model of a grindstone quarry and a rock puzzle invite visitors to explore and play. An information pillar on the outside of the building provides guests with up-to-date information throughout the day.
