Hedges, primeval forest, cliffs and a quarry: the circular hiking trail to the Dieteröder Cliffs leads hikers through various habitats. It starts at the nature park center in Fürstenhagen. Follow the signs with the silver thistle and pass through dense hedgerow landscapes with various shrubs. Gradually, the landscape changes into a wooded area in which there is no active human intervention. The result is a primeval forest where nature alone sets the pace. Just a few meters further on, the landscape opens up over the Dieteröder cliffs. On a clear day, you can see far into the nature park and as far as the Thuringian Forest. The way back then leads along an old quarry and near-natural beech forests.
